Shipwreck bowl from the Royal Nanhai ship
Shipwreck bowl from the Royal Nanhai ship
This celadon bowl was recovered from the historic Royal Nanhai shipwreck, a remarkable maritime discovery carrying a cargo of green and brown glazed ceramics. Crafted in the renowned Si-Satchanalai (Sawankhalok) kilns, the bowl reflects the refined craftsmanship and trade traditions of Southeast Asia’s ceramic heritage.
Having rested underwater for centuries, the piece carries unique traces of its long submersion, adding character and historical depth. The soft celadon glaze and organic variations in texture make the bowl a one-of-a-kind artifact with its own story.
A rare collectible that connects history, craftsmanship, and maritime archaeology in a single piece.
