"Matte glassware coupe" by Oliver Gustav

I have long been drawn to ancient Roman tear vessels. Inspired by their delicate forms, I created this collection of vases, bottles, and drinking glasses in clear and sandblasted glass. Each piece is handmade, allowing for subtle variations that give the pieces their organic character and individuality. The interplay between transparency and softly frosted surfaces, combined with the simplicity of each silhouette, creates a quiet, timeless presence. For me, they are objects that balance function and sculpture, carrying a sense of memory and craftsmanship.
