With its top note of blackcurrant leaves this scent and its Danish name for “sun” brings to mind northern island summers full of light and salty sunbaked cliffs. This is childhood memories of climbing mossy rocks and handfuls of sumptuous black summer berries bottled.

“The memory of summers spent at my grandmother’s house on the Danish island of Bornholm is very special to me. It is the feeling of her garden path warmed by the sun, playing the whole day through, and eating blackcurrants straight from the bushes.”

The candle comes in an iron vessel with a lid and can be used as a vase or as it is once finished.

How to get the best use of your candle:

Each time you light your scented candle from Journey by Oliver Gustav please allow the entire surface to melt, all the way out to the edge, before extinguishing it. This should take approximately 30-40 minutes and should be sufficient for the scent to fill the room. This will insure an even burn going forward and will have your candle last for a long time.
