About Fritz Baumann

With his Japanese-inspired wooden furniture, Fritz Baumann creates minimalist studies of nature. Carving his restrained pieces from green oak trunks, Baumann deliberately utilises the natural flaws and splits occurring from drying process to add beauty and character to his designs, making each piece a unique work of art.
